Oh girl, oh girl

First of all, I know i have been slacking on writing on here, but I am trying we have so much going on right now!!  Prepare for the UPDATES!!!!

Alright, first things first.  Rylie and Laramie are 20 weeks old.  I am soo soo amazed at how much they have grown and how big they are!!  My beautiful babies (though technically are already 5 months) will be 5 months on the 4th!!  I cant believe it!  They are both sitting without assistance, (though this really is Rylie's place of expertise) both can roll over from their belly to their back and Laramie can roll from her back to her belly (when Rylie tries she gets everything rolled over but her head haha)  They are both trying to crawl but I understand that this wont happen yet.  They are both good at standing up, Rylie LOVES it and Laramie is sooo wabbly, but she finds the humor in it.   They are both eating soo much now that solids are going to become a regular, three times a day thing here in the Jones house.  The want to eat what you eat and are ery interested in WHATEVER you put in your mouth.  They both love spoons, and love being fed by them, they even wipe their own faces hehe.

We are taking a trip home for about a month in April, because one, we miss it so much, and two, only three people have met the girls from home.  My mom, and nicks mom and dad.  Thats it, no one else and theyre almost 5 months!!!  So this trip is so overdue.  Were driving across the country (as we are taking ALL of our baby needs as well as the dogs) and renting a car would have been so expensive...which leads me to my next event...buying a car.

So we have needed a new "mommy car" since...well, before the girls were born.  We have two old, unreliable vehicles, not to mention they are both 2 door.  So...finally, after 5 months of dealing with our bronco that only has 2 doors, we bought a mommy car!!  Iam now the proud owner of a 2005 ford Explorer!!  I love it!!  We even have third row seating....ugh i cant even explane to you how happy I am!!!

But I am actually allowed to write about whatever I want.  This isnt an all babies blog now!!

Vegetarian Vegetable Stew

What you will need

carrots

red potatoes

vegetable stock

garlic

green beans roma tomatoes

celery

onion 

garlic

Step 1

Add your vegetable broth to your crock pot.

Step 2

Set your crock pot on high and set it for 4 hours

Step 3

Cut your potatoes

Step 4

add your potatoes to your crock pot

Step 5

cut up and add your tomatoes

Step 6

cut up and add your carrots

Step 7

cut up and add your green beans

Step 8

cut up and add your celery

Step 9 

add your garlic and onions

 Step 10

salt and pepper and let cook

I know I know, its really simple, but im no chef!!

Dear sunbaby diapers

I would like my diapers now.  I ordered almost a month ago, I bought a bunch of diapers from you, my tracking number doesnt work, and I am spending $30 bucks a week on disposables!!!  Please get to me very very soon, like today :)I would love that...Im all ready, I have two of them I got off of ebay, but two is one per baby per day and I need the other 30!  I have my wet bag, my laundry soap, my hemp inserts, my liners and everything...but one thing is missing...well 30 things are missing...please come soon.

Mommy Rylie and Laramie

4 MONTHS ♥

Oh wow what a day!My baby girls are 4 months old!  It is so crazy how big they are now!!  We had their 4 month doctors appointment yesterday...that was all good and all bad at the same time!!  They are both healthy as can be with no sign of stopping :)  Hitting every milestone like little pros!!  He checked out Rylie's head (as I have been very worried about it) but said that compared to the photos (that i brought in, like 10 of them) her head looks "so much better"  He said he would have recommended us to see a specialist had her head looked like it did in the "before" photos, but he said with how it is now there is no need for "further worry"  He gave us the go ahead on solids, but they dont seem ready as everything you put in their mouths they spit back at you!  So we are waiting another month, and I am not starting with rice cereal.   I have a solids post in the making.  Anyway, he said they are perfectly healthy and he cant believe how good they are doing...

Then there was the shots.  4 month shots are SOOOOOOOOO soooooo sooooooo much worse than 2 month shots.  Rylie cried for 5 minutes and fell asleep but Laramie on the other hand, she screamed for 30 minutes in pain and I got so upset from it that i cried too, nurses in the hospital must have though I had postpartum depression rocking my screaming baby while crying.  One nurse came over to me and asked if I was okay and Nick said "shots, they upset mommy more than the babies"  she kindly told me if i needed anything i could ask her.  Laramie finally fell asleep and we left (TRAUMATIC!!)  And now the fun part :)

14lbs 1oz  24 1/2 inches long

This little girl makes us so happy!!  She smiles and giggles and even knows her name!!  She sat on her own the other day, completely unassisted for a long 6 seconds!!!! She is my Rylie Bug and I love her!

Laramie

13lbs 3oz 23 1/2 inches long

My baby girl.  She makes the cutest faces and rolls all over the place!!  She flipped over on the table at the doctors office and startled her doctor!!  hehe  Shes the light of our lives (along with Rylie of course)

I can not believe that my babies are 4 months old...they are 18 WEEKS!!! ugh where did my teeny tiny buggars go?

Birthdays and flat heads...

This post started on the 2nd, but i finished it today :)

So a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my husband Nick!!!  He turns the big 21 today!!  We can both now officially rent a car and buy a handgun!!  I know, goofy things to be excited about, but we are!!  So tonight we are headed to our favorite Mexican restaurant (In Missouri)  El Jamidor.

In other news, I have been silently (Nick would disagree) freaking out over Rylie's worsening flat spot.  Frankly, I am terrified.  Her flat spot is on the left side of her head, and is causing her head shape to become distorted.  I posted yesterday on a few different groups on BBC and got a lot of helpful information.

So i made a thingy yes a thingy to compare her head and WOW  photos speak louder than words...
